Bush Lullabies with Australian Native Animals

Bush Lullabies with Australian Native Animals

from 15.00

The idea of young animals in the bush gathering around together to read bedtime stories in the dusk is really lovely - the little ones doing their best reading while old Mrs Emu looks on helping them out.  I include a few different animals that you don’t see as much – like the gentle little bilby’s, lyrebirds with their beautiful plumage and the little Tassie devils which are very cute. We are so blessed in Australia with such amazing fauna. I couldn’t work out how to place the animals around until someone suggested a Moreton bay fig tree, which are just incredible with amazing roots that are wonderful to climb over.

Included in this image from left to right a blue tongued lizard, kookaburras, bilby’s, a lyrebird, a gecko, a koala, kangaroo and wombat, platypus, echidna, emu, green tree frogs and some cheeky cockatoos.
